MultiVersus looks to be shaping up to be one of those games where it'll be near impossible or very expensive to keep up with all of the content, so players will need to focus on the characters they care about the most. There is also 3 more costumes only currently available through the Battle Pass, and only 1 of them is in the free rewards, meaning you'll have to spend another 300 Gleamium to get those. That means you have some costumes set at 500 Gleamium or $5, but there's also 4 outfits that are 1,500 Gleamium or $15.Īnd then you have Batman's iconic look from The Animated Series priced all the way at 2,000 Gleamium / $20, which is pretty damn wild for a costume that a lot of people are obviously going to want. While the roster members are somewhat uniform in terms of their price, the game's costumes are kinda all over the place.Įach character has 1 alternate outfit available except for Iron Giant, who has 2, and the pricing varies depending on the "rarity" level of the item. This means each fighter will cost around $7 apiece for those who don't want to grind out coins, and that's going to start getting expensive pretty quickly considering there's currently 11 locked characters. ![]() If you don't want to spend $40–100 on one of MultiVersus' Founders Packs, players will be required to spend 1,500–3,000 coins or 700 Gleamium to unlock each additional character after the initial 5.Ĭoins can be earned in game for playing matches and completing missions while Gleamium serves as MultiVersus' premium currency, which can be purchased and equates to $1 USD for every 100 Gleamium.
